A '''1ª Conferência Wikimedia Portugal (WikiCon Portugal)''' vai decorrer nos próximos dias 17, 18 e 19 de janeiro de 2020 no Porto, na [[:w:pt:Casa do Infante|pt:Casa do Infante]].
 
O evento contará com palestras, oficinas práticas de edição e debates, naturalmente sobre tudo o que tenha a ver com a Wikimedia. A agenda não está ainda completamente preenchida, por isso se gostariam de apresentar algo não hesitem em nos contactar.
 
Graças ao apoio da Wikimedia Foundation, estamos a oferecer algumas bolsas de viagem para quem se tiver de deslocar de fora do Porto. O prazo de inscrição para as bolsas é 30 de novembro de 2019. Caso queiram concorrer a bolsas de viagem, devem indicá-lo no formulário de inscrição.

A equipe de desenvolvimento comunitário da Fundação Wikimedia está buscando aprender mais sobre a maneira como os voluntários aprendem e se desenvolvem para os diversos papéis que existem no movimento. The [[Community Tech|Community Tech team]] has just launched a new initiative to improve Wikisource. We will be addressing five separate wishes, which came out of the [[Community Wishlist Survey 2020|2020 Community Wishlist Survey]], and we want you to be a part of the process! The projects include the following:
